Last night Eva and Adam and I rode over to Blockbuster. I had to take advantage of their 3 for $25 deal on previously viewed DVDs. Naturally I bought such wonderful movies as “A Cinderella Story”, “Under the Tuscan Sun” and the award winning “Freddy Vs. Jason”. Eva went to rent Napoleon Dynamite.
After spending the 2 hours or so watching Napoleon ReallyBites, I was left thinking such things as “What the hell did I just watch?”, “Did that have a plot?” and of course “They got rid of the late fees for movies like THAT?” Needless to say, the movie sucked balls worse than a whore with lockjaw. I don’t understand what the hype was about. I’m glad I didn’t actually pay to rent it. I highly reccommend that NO ONE watch that movie. Seriously, if you’ve seen it, please tell me you hated it too. And if you liked it, tell me what crack you’re smokin’.

In an earlier post about Pet Peeves I mentioned how I hate “net speak”. I loath the fact that some people insist on writing words like “are” as “r” or “you” as “u”.
Anyway, I DID find it comical to find this translator. It takes what you write and translates it into the form a “12 year old AOLer” would write it. Big props to Andyistic for this!

January 2nd, 2005 - The cleaning begins! Tara and I have been working on cleaning up and organizing the apartment after the busy Christmas season. We have so much stuff (junk) to put away. Lots of it are really nice, but the apartment just isn’t big enough for it. We’ve been throwing tons of stuff away. Most of the junk is old boxes and such. We’ve already made several trips to the dumpster outside Featherstone, which is severely overfilled (and no, not JUST because of us). They really need to collect garbage more than once a week. It gets like this at the end of every week.
We went to Target today to get some clearance stuff. I was surprised by how much they had left. I got my mom and us a wrapping paper container. Tara got some storage tubs. She’s currently in the process of organizing her room. My room is impossible. I’m ready to call TLC’s clean sweep, but I think they’d reject me because Superman isn’t available to clean. What a mess!
Too much stuff… too much. That’s the problem. I appreciate all the things people give me, but I just don’t have room for them right now. When I win/make/find/steal my millions, then we’ll talk.
