After so many seasons of American Idol, I finally got into it. I think this was the first season I’ve watched from the beginning. Usually I just watch the finale. It’s different this time though, in that I have a favorite and am rooting for someone. (I even voted! Hey now, it IS our civic duty to vote…)
As you can guess by the header, I’m hoping Carrie wins. Bo is alright, but I just don’t feel the rock thing. I like rock, don’t get me wrong, but I thought the original concept of Idol was that they were looking for a pop star. Okay okay… so Carrie is more country than pop. But it’s Country Pop I suppose.
I’m looking forward to the finale, although I’m horrified that it’s up against the finale of Lost. (You Fox BASTARDS! How dare you!) Mind you, Lost was on FIRST this season, and therefor it has greater allegiance. Regardless, I hope Carrie wins. Tara and I bought the Idol cd at Wally World tonight. It’s pretty good.
On another note, appologies to my faithful readers (all one of them) for the lack of posts. As you’ve seen I’ve switched shifts at work, and the body is still adjusting to everything. In fact, I’m at work now. I just had breakfast (or was it lunch or dinner… hell if I know.) Once I get back on track, things (meaning posts) should resume their normal occurence.
