So here I sit on the morning of the eve of my wedding. How are my students doing back at Lancaster? Don’t know, don’t care. They’re like beasts in the wild. They can fend for themselves.

How are my groomsmen doing? Will they all get here in time? Will they all actually come? (They better, or I’ll have to borrow my brother’s gun.) Tom will get here this afternoon, as will Dan, Brian and Garrow. Michael is caravaning up with the rest of Regina Road. I have no idea about Tara’s cousin John, but since he’s family, I’m sure he’ll arrive on time, lest the gates of Hell open and suck him in. I don’t know about Brandon. Supposedly he’s working at the Oyster House or something until late. Justin Hill is another enigma. Derek, however, seems pretty scheduled, so I’m sure he’ll show up on the exact second he needs to be here.

Last night we finished printing and folding the programs. Just a note, be careful of “do it yourself” programs from Uprint. The programs look nice, and they match the rest of our theme, but they fold backwards… or at least it seems like it.

The rehearsal is tonight. Assuming we don’t drop dead of a stroke or some other bizzare act of nature, everything will go over well. We’ll wake up tomorrow, get dressed, get married, get our dance on, go to sleep, wake up Sunday, get on a plane, and go to Disney World. Be back on Friday… with potential Jury Duty.

Yesterday we went to get our marriage license. That was fun, interesting, and weird all in the same. We had to affirm our answers were true. No problem there. We had to assure the clerk we weren’t under the influence of alcohol. Nope. (That’ll be AFTER we’re married, haha…) At one point the clerk instructed that we each had to answer certain questions on our own. I was first. Eventually she was inputting my address, and asked me to confirm my zip code. I did, and the system pulled up what she said was either “Glucose” or “Glucose Point”. Now, we knew damn well the computer didn’t say this, but she was reading “Gloucester” wrong. Tara spoke up to correct her, at which she snapped at Tara for answering MY question. No big deal, since it was a simple thing. Funny though.

Now it’s 8:30AM, November 17th, 2006. Playstation 3 came out today. Maybe I’ll get it for a wedding present. That would be funny, and surprising, and quite frankly, downright stupid, yet thoughtful.

Okay, that’s it for now. More hijinks later…
